DAY TO DAY ITINERARY:

Day 1 – WINDHOEK
Arrival in Windhoek, collection of hire vehicle, see the city or just relax after the long flight.
Day 2 – OKONJIMA
Your journey heads north to Okonjima, home of the Africat Foundation.  Learn more about conservation efforts in Namibia.
Day 3 – CENTRAL ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After the morning activities (if desired), continue further north to the Andersson Gate in the central area of the Etosha National Park.
Day 4 & 5 – EASTERN ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Continue through the central to eastern part of Etosha National Park from Andersson to Von Lindequist Gates.  Plan stops along the way at the popular waterholes and Halali Restcamp. There are quite a few good waterholes around the Namutoni area where you have a good chance of seeing a large amount of game. We recommend an early morning drive for possible predator sightings.
Day 6 – RUNDU
Travel either via Tsintsabis or Tsumeb & Grootfontein to Rundu on the northern border of Namibia. Options for fishing and cruises on the Okavango River, and cultural tours when available.
Day 7 & 8 – MAHANGU NATIONAL PARK
Now the journey heads east into the Caprivi Strip.  The Okavango River crosses the narrow strip at Divundu and Bagani before it ends in the renowned Okavango Swamps in Botswana. Enjoy a game drive in the small but game-rich Mahango Park and/or in the Buffalo Park – both part of the Bwabwata National Park, and/or a boat cruise on the Okavango River.
Day 9  & 10 – KWANDO & NKASA RUPARA NATIONAL PARK
A short distance further east and you reach the floodplains of the Kwando River which changes name just over the Botswana border to Linyanti River, and then later to Chobe River. A highlight in the Kwando River area is a visit to the Horseshoe Bend.  Game drives in the Nkasa Rupara National Park and boat cruises on the Kwando River are also recommended.
Day 11 & 12 – KASANE & CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
The journey continues via Katima Mulilo and Ngoma Bridge border post to Kasane in Botswana, situated on the well-known floodplains of the Chobe River. Your hire vehicle will be collected here. Game drives into the Chobe National Park as well as boat cruises morning or afternoon are highly recommended – nowhere else in Africa will you see so many different animals and birds. Known as well for huge herds of elephants.
Day 13 & 14 – VICTORIA FALLS
A pre-arranged shuttle will take you across the border to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.  Visit the gigantic falls, called “Mosi-oa-Tunya” by the local people – “the smoke that thunders”. We recommend the “Flight of Angels” helicopter ride for an aerial view of the falls. For the more adventurous at heart, there are many great adrenaline pumping activities like river rafting and bungee jumping.
Day 15 – RETURN TO WINDHOEK & DEPARTURE
Pre-arranged transfer to Vic Falls airport from where you will need to book your flight home.
